  报告人简介:

  Donghai Wang received his B.S. degree and M.S in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University. Then he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University (USA) at 2006. After three years (2006-2009) working at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, he joined in the Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering Department of the Pennsylvania State University as an assistant professor, and he was promoted to associate professor in 2014. He received the Graduate School Dissertation Year Fellowship of Tulane University (2003-2004), Graduate Student Achievement Award of Tulane University (2004), Student Award of the American Institute of Chemist (2004), First Place Presenter Award of Eastern Regional Chemical Engineering Graduate Student Symposium (2005), MRS Graduate Student Gold Award of Materials Research Society (2004), DTRA Young Investigator Grant Award(2010), Outstanding Research Award of Penn State Engineering Alumni Association (2013). His main research interests are investigating a variety of nanomaterials for clean energy technologies such as batteries, solar cells, fuel cells, and environmental remediation. He has published 13 US patents and more than 60 articles on Angew Chem Int Ed, J Am Chem Soc, Nature Commun, Adv Mater, Adv Funct Mater, Nano Letters, Chem Mater, etc. He also has four Book Chapters.
